This youngster was trying his bill at fishing on his own but just couldn't get the hang of it.
Finally he gave up and flew back to his nearby nestbox in hopes of a meal from his parents.
This photo was taken on June 6, 2003 with a Canon EOS 10D, 500mm f/4 IS Lens with 1.4X Teleconverter.
The exposure was f/5.6 @ 1/750th.
